Hone: 01 Marks
Hone at the Epicurean Factory Outlet will work within most of the brand architecture of Epicurean. A new mood board to develop style, color, type was unnecessary when the intent is to develop it as an entity within an established brand. There are a few things that need to be built to simply have it stand on its own as a segregated service. The Hone word mark done with Gotham keeps it in the same aesthetic as Epicurean as the top tier brand. The icon for Hone works to match the angle of a sharpened German blade at around 20°. Using that icon repeated there are multiple pattern potentials.

Create a look for an entity within the umbrella of Epicurean / Factory Outlet that can define the service of blade sharpening.
Conform:
Work within the brand architecture Epicurean has established. Begin with a word mark that also uses Gotham, like the main mark. Then create an icon(s) that are simple and can be used on all collateral and begin to define the sub brand. Icon is drawn to reference a sharpened German steel chef knife at 20°. Then repeat that icon to create patterns.
